How can I get information on the programs and tax credits that I am eligible for?

What can my Member of Parliament do?

With your written consent, my office is able to obtain information on your file and transmit it to you. When needed, my team can contact a CRA agent directly and relay important information.

Kindly note that my constituency office is not a government agency or Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and so we are only able to help in the following urgent situations: 

• Immigration emergencies (death in the family, etc.)
• Errors made in an application decision by IRCC
• It is way PAST  the processing time as stated on the IRCC website online and you have not received a response on your application.

Before you contact my office, kindly ensure you do the following

• Check the STANDARD PROCESSING TIME for your application type here.
• Check the STATUS of your application here. Select the kind      of application you made. 

NOTE: you can also link your paper application to an online account OR you can check your online application status. 

• If you have to  make a CHANGE to your application, please submit the appropriate web form here.

Register for the IRCC online portal here. It is very important to register for the IRCC online portal—as it is the fastest and best way to get updates on your file and to also be informed if there is something missing from your application.
